Gypsy Roots Hair Salon founder Stephanie Dupuis is passionate about creating a personal and unique experience for each of her guests. She thrives when creating transformative styles that boost confidence, making people feel beautiful and appreciated – inside and out.
As a Master Barber and Stylist, she’s proficient in straight razor cutting and detailing, and as a American Board Certified Hair Colorist, you can trust her true integrity as a colorist. Stephanie graduated from Continental Academie of Hair Design in 2007, and went on to spend a decade at one of the region’s premier beauty establishments. There, she studied under talented mentors and built client relationships she continues to maintain today.
Always committed to continuing education, Stephanie has traveled across the US and even to Italy to study at an exclusive “invite-only” training intensive week with only 30 other American stylists. She stood beside and personally trained under global educators and industry leaders, including Nick Arrojo, the late Don Bewley (Eufora) and Beth Minardi, and Kevin Murphy. She currently is staying up to date through online communities such as Behind the Chair.
While hair trends change with time, Stephanie’s approach never does. She values the quiet space her salon offers, providing guests with a very personal experience. She is grateful for her relationships with her clients and strives to give them 110% of her passion and experience. When she’s not at the salon, Stephanie enjoys playing golf, gardening, and spending time with her American Bulldog, Winston.
